About This Product

The VTech E-Smart W960 is a battery-powered wireless thermostat for PTAC and VTAC guest rooms. A small controller card mounts on the PTAC chassis and talks to the thermostat over ZigBee 3.0, so the thermostat can go anywhere in the room with no new wiring or electrician. Built-in occupancy sensing lets the W960 act as a stand-alone energy management system, which VTech says can cut heating and cooling energy use by up to 30%.
